The first weekend of May is when the 1st Liss Families get their camping gear out of hibernation and head off to a local campsite.
The weekend weather was fine and with 90 camping this year there was plenty to do with families forgetting their mobile devices for the weekend and enjoying the sunshine and activities.
The offsite walk proved popular with the prize of a Mars Bars when all the clues had been collected the Charlie H managed to work out the combinations from the fiendish formulas.
The afternoon was spent lighting fires, shooting arrows and building shelters.
The final day of the camp was a significant birthday for Acorn, though he did say he identifies as 35 and Willow brought along a suitably scouty birthday cake.
