Scout DBS Process for Family Camp

The Scout DBS process requires a sequence of steps that have to be completed in order. Unfortunately, the system does not send leaders notifications when you have completed your actions, so we rely on letting us know.

When the leader has verified the ID, the DBS process is initiated. We have to allow up to 60 days before we can follow up with the provider if there is a delay. Recent experience is that Hampshire police are taking in the region of 6-7 weeks to process the police check part.

Unfortunatly if the DBS check has not been returned when the district team authorises a family camp 2 weeks in advance, you will not be able to attend.

  • Email the leader who set up your record to let them know you have completed your personal information.
