Scout camp continues, and the pioneering project is nearing completion – a hammock tower. The scouts lashed together a 3-legged tower and series of A-frames. They’ve anchored the frames around the tower, and each supports a hammock.

Back in site, the Taskmaster games began. Which patrol would present the taskmaster with the middle sized stick? Who could work out how to use the new tin openers? How many baked beans in a tin of baked beans? How many beans could they get on a skewer? In a longer task, the scouts have 2 days to prepare and rehearse their showstopper song and dance from ‘Scout Camp The Musical’, to be premiered at Thursday’s campfire.
Wednesday morning, and everyone was up before 7.30am to light fires ready to cook bacon egg and sausages for breakfast.
