Scout Summer Camp 2025 is at Harry’s Island campsite in the New Forest.  Our nearest neighbours are wild horses, ponies and cows.  The scouts have set up their tents, dining shelters and cooking areas, and lashed pioneering poles together to construct washing up stands.

We’ve invested in some new equipment, so each patrol has their own set of pots and pans, cooking knives and utensils.  The scouts are preparing and cooking their own meals and cleaning and washing up afterwards.  Chicken and chorizo with rice and peppers last night.

An impressive effort on day two, with all the scouts up, breakfast cooked, tents brailed to air them, kit laid out for inspection, sun cream applied and pioneering poles set out ready for today’s activity, all before flag break at 9.30am.
