This morning the Cubs were finishing their camp t-shirts using glow-in-the-dark paint, and learning new knots from the Scout leaders. They had a great time working together to put their knots and lashes to use, making structures with the pioneering poles.
After lunch, the Cubs split into two groups to follow an orienteering course around the forest on site. Armed with a map and compass, the Cubs had to find 20 locations and the associated letters attached to trees.
Following some more pioneering practice in the evening, the Cubs gathered around the campfire to sing some songs and to cook cinnamon apples.
