With close to a 100% turn out for the Liss Remembrance Day Parade on Sunday there were more Scout, Cub and Beaver uniforms in the village than have been seen for several years and the fine weather on Sunday added to the event.
The previous day 14 of the Beavers had been to Paultons Park with their families, along with a few hundred more Beavers from around the county, for the annual visit to Santa. As is traditional, the weather was appalling and all the families experienced a Met office Yellow Rain warning. There was certainly enough water around, had we had the time most of the Beavers could have qualified for the stage 1 Swimming Badge ! ! This was certainly a day the Beavers and their parents will not forget.
Some pictures of the weekend.
